Gullfoss and Geysir and Þingvellir Direct Day Tour
The Golden Circle tour - most popular tour in Iceland
This ever popular tour allows you to experience the thrill of an erupting geyser, one of the country's most spectacular waterfalls and Iceland's best-loved national park, all within the space of a few hours.
We visit the world-famous high-temperature Geysir geothermal area with spouting springs of various formations and the nearby Gullfoss waterfall where you can watch its enormous quantities of water tumble violently into a deep, meandering gorge. Our last stop is at Þingvellir National Park, the site of Iceland's ancient parliament and the place where you can see the American and Eurasian tectonic plates pulling apart at the rate of a few centimetres per year.
Whether you take the morning or the afternoon tour, you will spend your time encountering a cross-section of Iceland's natural wonders and geological phenomena at Þingvellir National Park, an area of historical and geological significance.
