Golden Circle and the Secret Lagoon in Iceland
Start the day with a perfect combination of Golden Circle sightseeing and relaxation at the hot spring nature bath, called The Secret Lagoon.
By departing mid-morning, you will have more time and fewer people around to explore some of Iceland's most visited attractions, such as Geysir, Gullfoss, and Þingvellir National Park, and enjoy a relaxing nature bath at the Secret Lagoon afterwards.
Highlights of the tour
Þingvellir is a National Park and a UNESCO world heritage site where the two tectonic plates are slowly drifting apart.
The Geysir hot spring area includes the geyser Strokkur spouting hot water up to 20 metres high every 4-8 minutes.
The Golden waterfall Gullfoss never disappoints and if you are lucky you might spot a rainbow forming in the mist from the waterfall in the sunshine.
Relax in the Secret Lagoon, which is one of the oldest geothermal swimming pools in Iceland. It is surrounded by beautiful hot springs and one of them spouts every few minutes, a truly magical place.
Admission fee to the lagoon and towel is included in the price, but please remember to bring your bathing suit.
Short, easy walks on the sites visited. Recommended to dress warmly.
