Iceland Express Adds Flight Destinations
11.1.2010 Airline Iceland Express has announced plans to add destinations Gdansk in Poland and Winnipeg in Canada to its flight schedule next summer. This brings the airlines'' total number of destinations up to 27, a new record. Winnipeg flights will be scheduled twice a week, on Wednesdays and Saturdays, from the beginning of June. Winnipeg is the capital and largest city of Manitoba in Canada. Around 19 per cent of its inhabitants have an international background, thereof a substantial number of people with Icelandic roots. Flights to Gdansk begin in June and will be on offer once a week, on Fridays. Gdansk is one of two Iceland Express destinations in Poland, but weekly flights are already available to and from Warsawa, Poland''s capital.
