The Icelandic horse is a small, strong, friendly, willing, docile animal which rarely gives riders any kind of trouble. It has two special gaits, the tölt (running walk) and the flying pace. Horseback riding is a unique opportunity to experience the Icelandic landscape, culture and history and to discover Icelandic mentality. We offer a number of tours for beginners and experienced riders.

Get acquainted with the sure-footed, docile, enduring and good-natured Icelandic horse.
After an hour and a half on horseback and a light lunch we drive to the Blue Lagoon and spend at least an hour there.
On this tour we see places populated by Elfins and if we are lucky we can hear the elfins sing in their church at Skjólklettur
