The Blue Lagoon
The lagoon is a unique geothermal spa situated in the youngest lava field in west Iceland. Once there, you have many recreational options such as walking in the Blue Lagoon's spectacular surroundings, bathing in the milky blue-green water, relax in a geothermal steam bath or release the stress from your shoulders under a Blue Lagoon waterfall. A visit to the Blue Lagoon is not to be missed, and if you are on a tight schedule, you could even stop by on your way back to the Keflavík International airport, or when you arrive on your first day.
Be sure to remember to bring your bathing suit and towel, or you can rent it for a small price at the Blue Lagoon.
Departure: There are daily departures from Reykjavík to the Blue Lagoon; departure are frequent, every hour. Please contact email@example.com for further information on departure times and if you'd like to visit the laggon in connection with your arrival or departure.
Included in the price is transport from Reykjavík to the Blue Lagoon and back to the city or, upon request, to Keflavík International Airport, and entrance fee to the Blue Lagoon.
Duration: The pick-up and transport to the Blue Lagoon takes 60-75 minutes, it is then up to you how long you spend at the Lagoon as you can choose between different transfers back to the city and there are also 2-3 departures daily to the airport.
There are various departures daily from our Reykjavík hostels to the Blue Lagoon.

Children up to 13 years old: free of charge
Teenagers 14 - 15 years old: 50% discount
Transport from Reykjavík to the Blue Lagoon and back to the city or, upon request to Keflavík International Airport, and entrance fee to the Blue Lagoon. Pick-up from Keflavík Airport is also possible for 200 ISK extra per person.
The pick-up and transport to the Blue Lagoon takes 60-75 minutes. It is then up to you how long you spend at the Lagoon as you can choose between different transfers back to the city and to the airport.
