Iceland from below

Available throughout the year, this tour takes you to unique sights of Iceland’s most renowned and undiscovered lava craters and caves.
We will squeeze through narrow cave entrances and find they reveal stalactites, interesting rock formations, ropes, and heaps of boulders thrown about by constant ice formations. We enter incredible caves decorated with endless lava formations. This beautiful, natural phenomenon was created when the molten lava mixed with oxides and the results are these colourful ropes. You will also see other natural stalactites and rock formations so this is truly an indescribable experience.

The caves become wide and high and in many places, the floor is quite even. However, the trip can make you quite exhausted so bring good walking shoes/hiking boots suitable for coarse lava surface.

Respect for nature and safety are our main concerns. There are NO handrails, lights or any pre-installed tools in or around the caves. We rely totally on the equipment we carry and that people respect our guidelines. This tour is suitable for all who can walk on coarse surface.
