Þóra Guðmundsdóttir, owner of Seydisfjordur HI Hostel got awarded for her great and pioneering work in tourism, last weekend. The East Iceland tourism associations had an annual celebration were the winner was announced. The award, called „Kletturinn“ is awarded to those who have dedicated their work to build tourism in the eastern part of the country. Thora bought recently a new house – the old hospital of Seydisfjordur and has reconstructed as a hostel. Now Seydisfjordur hostel can welcome guests all year round. HI Iceland congratulates Þóra and all her staff and are proud to have her part of our organization.
