Although the the number of inhabitants may suggests otherwise Iceland is actually quite a big island. It has vast amount of sights and activities to enjoy during your stay and sometimes getting together a solid plan to fit your stay can prove cumbersome. But fret not, we have something to help you.  Below we have put together various ideas for different types of trips in Iceland. Each section is a trip in a specific part of Iceland with suggestions of extensions and possible combination with other trips.

West Iceland
A 7 days tour starting and returning to Reykjavík, including Snæfellsnes and the West Fjords

A 6 day tour that starts in Reykjavík and ends in Akureyri. Excludes the West Fjords.

Northeast Iceland
A 5 day tour that starts in Egilsstaðir and ends in Mývatn. Includes the Mývatn area.

A 5-6 day trip around East Iceland starting in Seyðisfjörður and ending in Egilsstaðir.
